I'm pretty impressed that pushing out three miles seems "regular" now and that I should really try to get myself past the 3 mile mark. Maybe next Sunday!
I've always dreamed of running a marathon. I'm no great athlete or runner. This is just something I've always wanted to do. I'm not getting any younger. While pregnant with my second child I told my husband I was planning on training for and running a marathon before we have any more children. The time is now. This is the story of my journey from chubby slightly postpartum-depressed Mother to healthy confident Mother and marathon runner.

Long run
I was only going to run a quick 2 miles after I got Darren in bed, but when I got to 1.5 I decided to turn around instead of going straight home to make it a solid 3. I felt pretty strong. My toe didn't protest until I was almost done with mile 3. Once I stopped running it let me know how very displeased it was about running. Even the sheet and blanket felt heavy and painful when I got into bed.
